CPREEC EIACP PC RP, Chennai, celebrated World Environment Day 2026 at its field office in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in collaboration with SVPMC at Junglighat, Sri Vijaya Puram.

As part of the observance, a tree plantation programme was organized and environmental awareness posters were distributed to promote environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

The event was conducted in the presence of Shri Vijay Kumar, Senior Sanitary Inspector, SVPMC. A total of 45 participants actively took part in the programme, demonstrating their commitment to environmental protection and green initiatives.
