  CPREEC-EIACP PC-RP, Chennai organized an International Tiger Day & Mission LiFE Awareness Programme on seven themes at KRM Public School, Sembium, Chennai on 29.07.2026. The programme focused on creating awareness about tiger conservation, ecological importance of apex predators, habitat protection, anti-poaching, human-wildlife coexistence and the role of youth in biodiversity conservation. As part of Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment, interactive sessions were conducted on seven key themes: Save Water, Save Energy, Reduce Waste, Reduce E-waste, Say No to Single-use Plastics, Adopt Sustainable Food Systems and Adopt Healthy Lifestyles. A special #CatchTheRain awareness session was also conducted to promote rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge and water conservation practices among students.
