CPREEC EIACP PC-RP, Chennai organized a 5-days Capacity Building Programme on “Craft Making Alternatives to Single Use Plastics (SUPs) – Wealth from Waste” – Second Batch for Women. The programme commenced on 7th September, 2026 at Seshadripuram School - ICSE, Kishora Bharati, #32, Geddalahalli, Upparahalli Main Road, Tumakuru, Karnataka. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K. S. Kumar (Rtd.) Principal and trustee in Tumkur academy for creative learning and excellence (TACLE). In his inaugural address, he emphasized the urgent need to eliminate SUPs from daily life and appreciated CPREEC EIACP for selecting Tumakuru and for empowering women through skill-based livelihood opportunities. The programme was felicitated by Mrs. B.N. Rashmi, Principal, Sheshadripuram School ICSE. Mr. Ravishankar, State Officer, CPREEC, Karnataka coordinated the entire programme and welcomed the gathering. Mr. Vinod Raj, Resource person demonstrate the techniques on craft making using paper to the participants.
