CPREEC EIACP PC -RP, Chennai, The valedictory function of the Certificate Course on Micro-Entrepreneur NTFP (Non Timber Forest Produce): Plant Origin – Coconut Shells & Fibre Handicraft for SC was held March 24, 2026 at Pandalur, The Nilgiris. Mr. F. Robert, former President, Rotary club, Gudalur valley & NGC District coordinator, Gudalur was the Chief Guests and highlighted the importance of Skill development. Dr. P. Sudhakar, Director and EIACP Coordinator, and tools, Course Completion Certificate to the trainees were distributed. Mr M Kumaravelu, Field Officer, CPREEC, The Nilgiris organized and coordinated the programme.

The popular deities today are two Vedic gods—Vishnu combined with a non-Vedic Narayana, and Rudra combined with a non-Vedic Shiva—and the many forms of Shakti, the supreme goddess.
